The beaded blocks are tarnish resistant. When the time comes to clean your treasure, I would recommend a cleaner that is pearl safe. Surface clean the jewelry to keep its bright sparkle. I use Sunshine Professional Jewelry Products. It's biodegradable and safe for fine jewelry, gold, platinum, silver, pearls, opals, soft-stones, antique jewelry, and costume jewelry. This cleaning product contains no ammonia, acid or alcohol. It cleans, shines and polishes although other brands on the market are fine as well.
